I'd love to be able to tell if my print was actually printing and adhering to the build plate. Currently it takes hours of build time for the build platform to get high enough out of the resin vat to visually see if the part was printing. Smaller parts can never been seen. It is super deflating to have a machine go through the motions for hours only to realize that nothing actually printed. Worse is starting a large build overnight and coming in the next day to realize nothing happened and you missed you deadline. Being able to inspect the beginning of the build gives some piece of mind that all is well.
So a couple ideas:
1) My preferred solution would be if rayware cold have an option (like print pause) that you could hit the "inspect" command and the build platform would come up high enough for the user to see the part. Hitting the command again would resume the print.
2) another option might be that the build plate can come up higher for the first 10 layers or something. Giving the operator a chance to inspect before it really gets going. I'd make this an option so people who don't want this are required to sit through longer print times.
Or maybe you all have other good ideas.
thanks again and super pumped.
